I am new to this site, and I've been reading and reading...all of the wonderful, funny, tragic, amazing stories you all have to tell. Thank you all so much for being here. It's helping to keep me sane. really.

I am currently debating the decision to have a hysterectomy. My primary MD and my gynecologist are saying "it's time".

What I need is info/advice from anyone who has had a hyst. How has it changed your life? Are you currently on any meds? (hormones or otherwise) How's your sex drive? Have you had any problems since the surgery? (has the endo returned?)

I have always been "the funny one"...the one who loves to laugh and to make people laugh, but lately I feel like I'm losing my sense of humor. I hate this feeling.

Help me, sisters!!!

I'm New to the site.
Contemplating a hyst too. I noticed you posted your dilemma a while ago and was wondering what you decided to do and how it's working out for you?
I havent seen too many on here with experiences of having a hyst.

Let me know anything you have to share on the subject.
