I'm feeling depressed because my fiance' knows that I have endo, and tells me all the time that it's not going to change anything. But I can't help but feeling that sooner or later he's going to leave me because my doctor told me that my case is the worst he has ever seen in his career, and that I'll never be able to have children. That's it's physically impossible. Mind you I'm only 23. I'm afraid he'll leave because I can't give him a namesake. I don't know if I'm coming or going somedays. I cry myself to sleep almost every night because I know that I can't have children to carry on my and my soon to be husband name.

Great women some are sterile because of Endo some are not.

You will find that your husband (if He is truly dedicated and loving) will work through this with you. It is trying on both of you. Him because He doesnt want to see your in pain (this is probably the most of his grief not that fact that he can not have children with you) .
I know NONE of us like hearing this... too many say it waaaaaaaaaay to casually to us who are barren, BUT adoption can lesson the pain. For you and for that child. Yes it will have your name and I understand not the genetics but that truly does not matter in your eyes once that child is in your care.
Sadly for me adoption is not an option ( my hubby changed his mind and is against it, HE has two kids from a previous and this is a constant issue for me causing much resentment).


I had Endo very bad and had to have a total hysterectomy at age 30.

Its horrible and unless you are one of us you have NO CLUE how painful this can be mentally, for a long time. Faith, friends, and keeping myself busy is all that keeps me sane most days and even then I cry. I am crying now writing this.
Why do I say this? Its not to make you feel hopeless, but rather to help you get the help you need now before your 38 like me and still suffering in silence...
